Astana Hub showcased innovative startups focused on promoting Kazakh culture and language during a recent event
On March 20, as part of the Nauryz holiday celebration, Astana Hub International Technopark of IT Startups showcased innovative projects developed by its participants to promote national culture and advance the state language.
Astana Hub Managing Director Daniya Akhmetova highlighted several innovative projects during the Nauryz celebration, including Speech Lab for Kazakh and mixed Kazakh-Russian speech recognition, Sifro's CGI films rooted in Kazakh history, and Qonzhyq App and Sazalem offering free access to Kazakh music and folklore. Sazalem has over a million downloads, while Qonzhyq App has over 150,000 users. Additionally, QazCode developed BeeBert, a dataset for language modeling in Kazakh, enhancing text prediction. IG Space CEO emphasized language diversity in business automation, while Antiplagiat.Kazakhstan focuses on detecting text borrowings in Kazakh, with a database of over 3.5 million sources.
