Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines will introduce a new direct passenger route between Almaty and Minsk starting August 10, with flights scheduled twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays, the Ministry of Transport announced today.
Currently, Belarusian airline Belavia operates four weekly flights on the Astana–Minsk route. The addition of SCAT’s new service will bring the total number of scheduled flights between Kazakhstan and Belarus to six per week.
The expanded air connectivity is expected to boost bilateral cooperation in tourism, trade, and business. Officials anticipate that the Almaty–Minsk route will enhance mobility for travelers and contribute to the further development of economic and cultural ties between the two countries.
