President Tokayev to Participate in Boao Forum for Asia
Kazakh President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a working visit to the People’s Republic of China and take part in the session of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) on March 28-29, Akorda press service reported.
The visit agenda encompasses meetings between the Kazakh President and Chinese leaders, international organizations, and major Chinese companies. The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), held in Hainan Province, focuses on the theme "Asia and the World: Common Challenges, Shared Responsibilities," addressing global economy, social development, international cooperation, and scientific innovation.
Key speakers include Chairman Zhao Leji and notable figures like Ban Ki-moon and Mathias Cormann, gathering nearly 5,000 attendees including journalists. Established in 2001, BFA aims to foster economic integration in Asia and contribute to global development.
