Kazakhstan’s airlines are set to introduce several new routes this year
Kazakhstan’s airlines plan to increase international flights and open new routes by the end of this year.
Kazakhstan’s Air Astana will start direct flights from Shymkent to Jeddah in September, operating twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays with an A320. Plans include resuming flights to Kuala Lumpur in December and introducing a codeshare route with Japan Airlines from Almaty to Tokyo in 2026.
SCAT Airlines will launch Shymkent-Xian flights from November 1, and there are future plans for New York flights.(Source:astanatimes)
