Kazakhstan inaugurates its third Honorary Consulate in Canada

Kazakhstan inaugurates its Honorary Consulate in Vancouver, British Columbia (BC), aiming to bolster investment, trade, and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Canada. This initiative underscores the commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Darren Klinck, the CEO of Arras Minerals mining company, has been appointed as the Honorary Consul to represent Kazakhstan's interests.

The opening ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Ambassador Dauletbek Kussainov, British Columbia Minister of State for Trade Jagrup Brar, and representatives from diplomatic and business circles.

Ambassador Kussainov highlighted the significance of the Honorary Consulate in advancing Kazakh-Canadian cooperation, while Minister Brar underscored Kazakhstan's promising economic and investment opportunities.

In his remarks, Darren Klinck expressed gratitude for the trust placed in him by the Kazakh authorities and pledged to enhance economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties between Kazakhstan and British Columbia.

With the addition of the Honorary Consulate in Vancouver, Kazakhstan now boasts three such consulates across Canada, located in the provinces of Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia.(Source:astanatimes)
