Kazakhstan has extended its contract for oil supply to Germany until the end of the year

KazMunayGas (KMG), the national oil and gas company, has extended its current agreement on oil supply from Karachaganak Petroleum Operating to an oil refinery in Schwedt, Germany, until the end of 2024, the KMG press service reported on May 21.

Under the agreement, there will be a monthly transportation volume of 100,000 tons of oil. From January to April, Kazakhstan transported 420,000 tons of oil to Germany through the Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline, continuing along the Druzhba pipeline. This oil, known as Kazakhstan ExportBlend Crude Oil (KEBCO), is exported to Germany via this route.(Source:astanatimes)
