Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Energy has reaffirmed its commitment to the OPEC+ agreement despite increased oil production due to the expansion of the Tengiz oil field.
The ministry emphasized that the country adheres to its obligations and engages in negotiations with partners in accordance with international law.
On February 3, the OPEC+ committee decided to maintain its current oil production policy. Participants stressed the importance of complying with agreements and compensating for excess production. It was also noted that postponing the production increase to April 1 helped stabilize the market.
