The price of Kazakh oil has risen to $79.87 per barrel.
Meanwhile, Brent crude has been declining for five consecutive days, dropping from $78.85 to $75.42 per barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange since Jan. 24.
Analysts note that Kazakhstan faces challenges in limiting oil production due to its plans to increase output, particularly with the Tengiz oilfield expansion. The government aims to raise oil and gas condensate production to 96.2 million tons in 2025, exceeding its OPEC+ quota.
Kazinform also reported that natural gas is priced at $3.16 per million BTU, lithium at $10.85 per kilogram, and gold at $88,752 per kilogram.
