Kazakh IT innovators have introduced projects spanning education, oil, and payments sectors

Kazakh IT developers presented innovative projects in education, the oil sector and payment systems at the Astana Hub International Technopark of IT startups.

The Prime Minister's office reported that on June 15, Kazakh Deputy Prime Minister and National Economy Minister Nurlan Baibazarov, along with Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry Zhaslan Madiyev, visited Astana Hub to review innovative projects developed by local experts.

Astana Hub is dedicated to fostering an ecosystem for IT enterprises, training IT professionals, and nurturing startup initiatives. The technology park hosts nearly 1,500 IT firms, with over 400 having international participation.

Another highlight was the NeuronOil project, a web-based simulator for oilfield development employing cross-well numerical simulation and machine learning. This technology enhances daily oil production efficiency without increasing costs, ensuring planned production levels are maintained.

CodiPlay, an ambitious Kazakh EdTech startup focused on global expansion, was also presented. Leveraging AI and virtual reality, CodiPlay connects schools across Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Qatar, South Korea, the United Kingdom (UK), and Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, discussions centered on supporting startups, commercializing innovative projects, and providing venture finance, aligning with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's directive to boost IT service exports to $1 billion.(Source:astanatimes)
