Astana is set to host the TechnoWomen Central Asia Forum
Astana will host the three-day Technowomen Central Asia: AI Future Forum from April 17 to 19 at the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC).
The TechnoWomen Central Asia Forum, hosted in Astana, aims to empower women in the tech industry by fostering a supportive community, promoting entrepreneurship, and encouraging participation in STEM fields. Through interactive workshops and networking sessions, participants will exchange experiences and insights.
The forum will focus on establishing a professional community of experts to achieve technological independence and leadership in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) within Central Asian countries. Discussions will assess the current landscape of the AI industry and explore best practices to address contemporary societal and business challenges through effective technological solutions.
The first day will feature a roundtable discussing the opportunities and risks of AI, with participation from government representatives, Mazhilis deputies, and international guests.
On the second day, speeches will be delivered by Bagdat Mussin, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry, Aida Balayeva, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Culture and Information and Chairwoman of the National Commission for Women, Family and Demographic Policy, and Dorin Bogdan-Martin, Secretary General of the International Telecommunication Union.
The key panel, "New AI Opportunities in Central Asia," will feature representatives from Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan sharing insights.
The final day will include the TechnoWomen Leaders 2023 competition awards ceremony, masterclasses, and presentations of the TechnoWomen mentoring program and Culture Tech projects.(Source:astanatimes)
