Kazakhstan Grants Neo Nomad Visa to Two More Foreigners
Kazakhstan has issued Neo Nomad Visas to two more foreign nationals—a South Korean resident and a Singaporean citizen—allowing them to live and work remotely in the country, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports announced on Jan. 28.
A U.S. citizen is also under consideration for the visa.
Introduced in November 2023, the Neo Nomad Visa permits foreign professionals to reside in Kazakhstan for up to a year while working for overseas employers. The first recipient was a British citizen in the energy sector. Applications can be submitted through Kazakh embassies and consulates.
