The US Embassy in Kazakhstan has implemented updates to its visa services aimed at enhancing efficiency
The United States (U.S.) Embassy in Astana and the U.S. Consulate General in Almaty announced that they moved to a new visa services provider on June 10.
Starting June 10, all visa applicants are required to utilize the website for obtaining visa information, paying necessary nonimmigrant visa fees, scheduling appointments, and arranging document courier services.
Applicants who have already paid the nonimmigrant visa application fee through this website must create a user account in the new visa system and link it to their existing visa application record. This allows them to manage appointments, make alterations, submit requests, and adjust document return options.
Under the new appointment system, eligible applicants can send their visa application documents to the Consular Section in Astana or Almaty through courier service and retrieve their documents from designated pick-up locations after adjudication.
Despite the updates, the visa application fee remains unchanged. These modifications are part of the U.S. Department of State's endeavor to enhance services for visa applicants from Kazakhstan.(Source:astanatimes)
