Kazakhstan is set to launch the Silk Road railway tour, connecting Almaty, Turkistan, and Tashkent, with the inaugural journey departing on Nov. 16, according to the Tourism and Sports Ministry.
The four-day tour offers a seamless travel experience for citizens and international visitors, highlighting the spiritual and historical richness of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Key destinations include Turkistan, Tashkent, and Otyrar, one of Central Asia’s oldest trade hubs.
Notable attractions include the Arystan Bab Mausoleum, the Azret Sultan State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum, and Caravanserai, the region’s largest tourist complex. In Tashkent, travelers will explore a blend of historical landmarks and modern developments.
The tour package includes a guide, meals, transportation, and entrance tickets, making it a comprehensive and accessible option for exploring the region’s heritage.
