This move signifies a significant step in promoting Kazakhstan as a tourist destination. The information was reported by the Kazakh Tourism national company on its Instagram page on January 18th.
According to Kazakh Tourism, the inclusion of Kazakhstan in the catalog reflects the country's growing popularity as a tourist destination, especially among culture and adventure enthusiasts.
The Alpitour Group is a prominent player in the Italian tourism industry, encompassing leading tour operators with a vast network of over 2,500 travel agencies, as well as the Voi Hotels and Neos Airlines. The group achieves an annual turnover exceeding 2 billion euros ($1.8 billion).
In 2019, before the onset of the pandemic, the total turnover approached nearly 2.4 billion euros ($2.2 billion), with tour operator activities accounting for 58%, aviation services at 20%, inbound tourism at 18%, and hotel management at 5%.(Source:astanatimes)
