The Kazakh-Tajik Investment Forum, held in Dushanbe on Aug. 21 ahead of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to Tajikistan, resulted in the signing of several commercial agreements and contracts worth approximately $900 million, reported the Prime Minister’s press service.
The Kazakh-Tajik Investment Forum led to nearly $900 million in contracts and plans to boost trade turnover to $2 billion. The forum highlighted opportunities for joint projects across various sectors, including agriculture, metallurgy, transport, and IT. Kazakhstan, a key regional partner for Tajikistan, is involved in expanding industrial and agricultural cooperation and enhancing transit transport.
