Qazaq Air Launches Subsidized Flights to Turkistan

Kazakhstan's Qazaq Air has launched new subsidized flights on the Kostanai–Turkistan route, starting Jan. 4, with additional services planned for the Karaganda–Turkistan route on Jan. 13.

Flights between Kostanai and Turkistan will operate twice a week on Mondays and Saturdays, with one-way fares set at 31,000 tenge (US$58.95). Karaganda–Turkistan flights will run on Mondays and Wednesdays, priced at 20,000 tenge (US$38).

Flights from Astana to Turkistan will also begin on Jan. 13, running twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. The one-way ticket price will be 17,000 tenge (US$32.33).

Children under 14 years old will receive a 50% discount on these subsidized flights.
