Kazakhstan’s oil production and export operations continue without disruption following an incident at the Sheskharis oil loading terminal located in Russia’s Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, the Ministry of Energy reported.
According to the ministry’s official statement, Kazakhstan’s oil output and export shipments remain stable, with no impact recorded on export infrastructure used for international deliveries.
Earlier, regional authorities in Krasnodar Krai reported a fire at the Sheskharis terminal following drone attacks. The facility is one of the largest oil loading complexes on the Black Sea and serves as an important logistics hub for regional energy exports.
The Sheskharis complex handles more than 6 million tons of Kazakh oil annually, playing a significant role in ensuring access to global markets. Kazakhstan’s crude exports are transported via two primary routes — the Atyrau–Samara–Novorossiysk pipeline system, enabling direct transit shipments, and the Makhachkala–Novorossiysk route, under which oil is delivered to Makhachkala by tanker and rail before reaching the Black Sea terminal.
