Kazakhstan has launched flour exports to the United States, with the first 50 tons of wheat flour under the Eurasian Legacy brand delivered to New York.
Supported by the Ministry of Trade and Integration, monthly shipments are expected to exceed 100 tons. The product is already available on Amazon, Walmart, and in U.S. bakeries, retailing at $14.50 for a 1.36-kilogram package. Labeled “Product of Kazakhstan,” the flour promotes the Made in Kazakhstan brand and underscores the country’s role as a supplier of high-quality, eco-friendly products.
Negotiations are underway to expand sales to restaurants, coffee shops, and regional food chains, with plans to enter major retailers such as Costco, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s.
According to QazTrade CEO Aitmuhammed Aldazharov, Kazakhstan has also introduced buckwheat, granola, talkan, chocolate, and cocoa to the U.S. market, with buyers in New York, Chicago, and Washington assessing their quality.
