Kazakhstan and Nigeria are deepening their collaboration in digital technology, investment, and business development, following high-level meetings between government officials and business leaders, the Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Feb. 26.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov met with Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy Bosun Tijani to discuss joint initiatives in e-government, fintech, and space technology. Both sides expressed their commitment to advancing digital sector partnerships and exploring innovative solutions.
Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Algeria Anuarbek Akhmetov also held talks with representatives from the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. They agreed to support businesses from both nations in entering each other’s markets and developing joint ventures.
Entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and Nigeria engaged in discussions aimed at expanding trade, launching joint projects, and localizing production across key sectors, including energy, mining, finance, transport, logistics, and agriculture. This strengthened economic dialogue reflects a shared vision for increased bilateral cooperation and sustainable development.
