Uzbek Airline My Freighter Expands Into Kazakhstan

Uzbekistan’s My Freighter airline will begin flights from Tashkent to Almaty on May 5, with two weekly flights, as announced by the Kazakh Transport Ministry on May 2.

Starting June 6, the airline will increase its service to three weekly flights on this route. This expansion aligns with Kazakhstan’s strategy to attract new carriers and enhance its international connectivity.

“The launch of the air link between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will contribute to the further development of trade and economic ties, business and investment cooperation, tourism, and cultural exchange between the two countries,” reads the ministry’s statement.

Founded in 2020, My Freighter is based in Tashkent and handled 60% of Uzbekistan’s air cargo by 2023. The airline operates both passenger and cargo flights.
