The third day of the World Nomad Games will feature nine sports
The third day of the fifth World Nomad Games, on September 10, will feature nine sports, according to the Tourism and Sports Ministry’s press service.
The Kazanat Hippodrome is hosting the quarter-finals of kokpar, featuring teams from Kazakhstan and the United States. Concurrently, the ethno-village is conducting zhamby atu competitions in the Turkic tradition.
The day will also see semifinals in assyk atu and togyzkumalak, along with finals in audaryspak among heavyweights, traditional archery, Qazaq Kuresi for men, kurash, and mas-wrestling.
On September 9, Kazakh athletes achieved 23 awards, including 13 gold medals.(Source:astanatimes)
