Suspected member of terrorist group extradited from Bulgaria to Kazakhstan
A suspected member of a terrorist group was extradited from Bulgaria to Kazakhstan, reports the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

“Today, employees of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the National Security Committee, Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, extradited a citizen of Kazakhstan from the Republic of Bulgaria to face criminal charges for participation in the activities of a terrorist group,” reads the message.
He is suspected of being a supporter of a radical religious movement, and in 2015 he traveled to the territory of the Syria, where he joined one of the terrorist groups. The man was detained in Bulgaria in May. Thanks to the presence of a bilateral agreement with the Bulgarian side on the extradition of persons dated November 14, 2014, the suspect was extradited to Kazakhstan.
