Royal Jordanian Airlines to Launch Direct Amman–Almaty Flights in 2026
Royal Jordanian Airlines will open a direct route between Amman and Almaty in 2026, the Akorda press service reported following President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan on Aug. 27.
The new connection is expected to enhance air connectivity between Central Asia and the Middle East, creating additional opportunities for tourism, trade, and investment.
It also supports Kazakhstan’s strategy to expand international air traffic and strengthen Almaty’s position as a regional aviation hub.
Royal Jordanian, Jordan’s national flag carrier, maintains an extensive network across the Middle East, Europe, North America, and Asia.
