President Tokayev to Visit Japan on Official Trip
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay an official visit to Japan on Dec. 18–20, the Akorda press service reported.
During the visit, President Tokayev is scheduled to hold high-level talks with Emperor Naruhito and Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. The program also includes meetings with representatives of Japan’s business community to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral economic and investment cooperation.
In addition, President Tokayev will take part in the Central Asia–Japan Summit, which serves as a key platform for strengthening regional dialogue and advancing strategic cooperation between Japan and the Central Asian states.
