President Highlights Crucial Role of Educators in Shaping Kazakhstan’s Future
At the August Conference of Teachers on Aug. 15, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev underscored the pivotal role of educators in the development and future of Kazakhstan. He stressed that enhancing the prestige of the teaching profession, ensuring equitable access to high-quality education, and embracing digital transformation are essential to cultivating a morally grounded, professionally competent, and socially responsible generation.
The 2025 conference, held under the theme Bilim Keleshegi: Adal Azamat, Kasibi Maman (The Future of Education: An Honest Citizen, a Professional Specialist), brought together approximately 1,500 participants, with more than 3,000 representatives of the education sector engaged across 25 panel sessions, according to Akorda.
The Ministry of Education emphasized that the conference serves as a platform to assess the current state and define the strategic direction of Kazakhstan’s education system. The event will conclude with the adoption of a resolution aimed at further elevating the status and recognition of teachers nationwide.
