President Congratulates Citizens on Republic Day
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated people on Republic Day, the country’s national holiday commemorating the foundation of an independent and sovereign state, on Oct. 25.
Tokayev emphasized that Republic Day represents Kazakhstan's sovereignty and symbolizes the revival of its long-standing statehood, according to Akorda. The celebration aims to strengthen national identity and unite citizens around the country’s core values.
He highlighted that the nation's cohesion and solidarity enable it to tackle challenges and execute significant transformations. Additionally, he noted that law and order, along with the hard work and professionalism of the people, serve as crucial support and the driving force behind ongoing reforms.
“We look forward with confidence, gradually building a just and fair Kazakhstan for the benefit of future generations. What our country will be like tomorrow depends on each of us! I am sure that all our citizens are deeply aware of this great responsibility and will contribute to strengthening our statehood. I wish all my people good health, prosperity and achievements!” the President said.
