On Dec. 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines flight en route from Baku to Grozny crashed near Aktau, resulting in 29 individuals being hospitalized, including two children, according to the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Casualties and Medical Response Hospitalization:
A total of 27 injured persons were transported to the Mangystau Region’s multidisciplinary hospital. Of these, 11 remain in critical condition and are receiving intensive care. Two children, aged 11 and 16, are under medical supervision at a regional children’s hospital and are being prepared for surgery.
Rescue Operations: More than 430 emergency personnel and 80 units of specialized equipment were deployed to the crash site. Comprehensive medical, psychological, and logistical assistance is being provided to all affected individuals.
