Lufthansa to Resume Flights to Kazakhstan in March

Lufthansa will resume regular flights between Germany and Kazakhstan starting March 29, connecting Frankfurt am Main with Almaty and Astana, the airline reported.

The carrier will operate five weekly flights to Almaty and four weekly flights to Astana using Airbus A340-300 aircraft. Flights will follow a circular routing system, allowing both direct and transit connections between the two Kazakh cities.

The aircraft will offer business class with fully flat beds, premium economy, and intercontinental economy, with complimentary meals, individual entertainment screens, and onboard internet via FlyNet.

Lufthansa reaffirmed that corporate responsibility and sustainable development remain priorities in its operations.
