LOT Polish Airlines to Launch Direct Almaty–Warsaw Flights in 2026

Poland’s national carrier, LOT Polish Airlines, will launch direct flights between Almaty and Warsaw starting May 31, 2026, the airline’s press service announced.

During the summer season, flights will operate four times a week — on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. In winter, frequency will be reduced to three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The route will be served by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. The flight time will be around 6.5 hours from Warsaw to Almaty and roughly 7.5 hours on the return leg. Ticket prices start at 303,500 tenge (US$560) one way, including 8 kg of hand luggage and 23 kg of checked baggage.

LOT Polish Airlines first launched flights between Astana and Warsaw in 2017. Services were briefly suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in 2021, currently operating three times a week.
