King of Jordan to Pay Official Visit to Kazakhstan Next Week
At the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on Aug. 26–27, the Akorda press service reported.
During the visit, the two heads of state will hold high-level talks in Astana, with discussions expected to focus on strengthening bilateral cooperation in trade, economic development, cultural exchange, and humanitarian affairs.
This will be King Abdullah II’s second official visit to Kazakhstan in recent years. His last visit took place in 2017, when he was awarded the Prize for a Nuclear-Weapons-Free World and Global Security.
