Kazakhstan’s natural gas production rose 9.2% in the first seven months of 2025, reaching 17.3 billion cubic meters, an increase of 1.46 billion cubic meters compared to the same period in 2024, the Energy Ministry reported.
The ministry noted that recent increases in consumer gas prices are not related to production volumes. Officials emphasized that the adjustments aim to ensure long-term industry stability, attract investment in new fields, and prevent future supply shortages.
