Kazakhstan’s lamb exports to Qatar have surged by 75% this year, highlighting the increasing demand for Kazakh agricultural products in the Gulf nation. This growth was a key focus of a business mission held in Doha on November 29, organized by QazTrade, the Kazakh Ministry of Trade and Integration, and the Kazakh Embassy in Qatar.
The event brought together 30 companies from Kazakhstan and Qatar across agriculture, industry, and IT, fostering business partnerships and trade negotiations. Discussions also included improving air cargo logistics with Qatar Airways to enhance export efficiency.
Kazakhstan-Qatar trade turnover has reached $6.2 million in 2024, with agricultural exports, such as lamb, playing a pivotal role in strengthening economic ties.
