Kazakhstan to Present National Sustainability Review at UN Forum

Kazakhstan will present its third Voluntary National Review on sustainable development at the UN's high-level political forum in New York this July, joining 38 other countries in showcasing progress on the UN 2030 Agenda.

This follows Kazakhstan’s previous presentations in 2019 and 2022, which were well received internationally. The current review draft has been developed through regional seminars supported by the UN Development Programme and the Institute of Economic Research, with input from key groups, including youth.

In October 2024, Kazakhstan updated its national indicators, identifying 69 priority areas out of 200. As of now, 93% of these have been integrated into national and regional planning documents. The country remains committed to sustainable growth, improved public administration, and strengthening its global position.
