Kazakhstan is forecasted to lead Central Asia in economic growth, with its GDP expected to expand by 5.5% in 2025, marking a 1.5 percentage point increase from the previous year, according to the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Asian Economic Outlook and Integration Progress Annual Report released on March 25.
The report attributes the region’s overall GDP growth—projected at 5%—primarily to Kazakhstan’s strong economic performance.
Held under the theme "Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future," the Boao Forum for Asia is taking place this week in Hainan, China. The event features over 50 discussions on economic integration, regional development, and global challenges.
