Kazakhstan Highlights Investment Opportunities at Future Resilience Forum in London

Kazakhstan showcased its investment potential and sustainable growth strategy at the Future Resilience Forum 2025 held on Oct. 20–21 in London, during the panel session “Kazakhstan – Diplomacy & Trade: Middle Power Countries,” the Foreign Ministry reported.

The forum brought together global investors, policymakers, and business leaders to discuss Kazakhstan’s evolving role in the international economy.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alibek Kuantyrov, who led the Kazakh delegation, emphasized the country’s commitment to economic resilience, openness, and international credibility. Vice Minister of Energy Sanzhar Zharkeshov presented Kazakhstan’s balanced energy transition strategy, combining traditional and renewable sources to ensure regional energy security and decarbonization.

Participants noted Kazakhstan’s growing role as a reliable production and logistics hub across Eurasia, highlighting opportunities in critical minerals, energy, agriculture, transport, finance, and healthcare.

The session also emphasized the country’s position along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route and efforts to attract global pharmaceutical investments, citing AstraZeneca’s 2025 launch of local production as a key success.

During the visit, the Kazakh delegation held meetings with UK government officials, business representatives, and international financial institutions to promote new investment projects. Established in 2023, the Future Resilience Forum serves as a global dialogue platform for governments and the private sector. The 2025 edition, themed “New World Order, New World Thinking,” focused on the role of middle-power countries in building a more resilient global economy.
