Kazakhstan Launches Migration Data Website to Simplify Procedures

The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection announced the launch of the migration.enbek.kz website in Kazakhstan, focused on migration data and services.

The recently launched website, hosting information about incoming foreign citizens, aims to enhance the quality of government services offered to migrants.

This unified platform seeks to streamline various stages of migration processes, improve data management efficiency, and reduce the time and expenses involved in processing migration-related information.

The website offers an array of government services related to migration, such as handling applications for the kandas (ethnic Kazakh) status, allocating regional quotas for receiving migrants and kandas, and issuing the Ata Zholy (Ancestors’ Path) card. This card grants a 10-year residency permit for ethnic Kazakhs, as well as facilitating the process for obtaining asylum seeker certificates and other related services.

Earlier directives from Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov emphasized the need to simplify entry processes for foreigners, including entrepreneurs and potential investors.
