Kazakhstan has initiated a healthcare program tailored for Central Asian students

On April 15, Kazakh Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Aibek Smadiyarov announced the launch of Avicenna, a healthcare program for medical students from Central Asian countries, by the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development (KazAID) and Astana Medical University.

The program, supported by KazAID, encompasses training sessions on diverse facets of medical education and a cultural itinerary to discover Astana's landmarks. It is scheduled to take place from April 12 to May 2, benefiting 17 promising students from the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.

This initiative underscores Kazakhstan's dedication to fortifying academic connections and nurturing budding healthcare experts across Central Asia.(Source:astanatimes)
