The majority of Kazakhstan’s grain exports, totaling 2.5 million tons, were sent to Central Asian countries. Additionally, 1.2 million tons were shipped to China, with a notable 70% increase in the transport of milled products to China, reaching approximately 500,000 tons.

KTZ expects large-scale grain shipments to begin on September 20, with about 12,000 grain cars prepared nationwide for this purpose. According to KTZ Managing Director Baurzhan Urynbasarov, around 6,000 of these cars are ready for transporting grain to Black Sea and Baltic Sea ports.

As of September 16, 7,400 hectares—44% of Kazakhstan's farmland—have been harvested, yielding an average of 14.6 centners per hectare and producing a total of 10.8 million tons of grain. Additionally, 1.5 million tons of grain have been delivered to elevators.
