Kazakhstan is exporting IT solutions to Tajikistan, Sierra Leone, and Togo

Kazakhstan has signed licensing agreements with Tajikistan, Sierra Leone, and Togo to share its expertise in developing electronic government systems, according to Dmitriy Mun, Acting Chairman of National Information Technologies (NIT). This announcement was made at the first Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation on September 3.

“We create over 4,000 websites of all government agencies in Kazakhstan on a single platform, a website builder that enables news website creation without programming,” Mun explained.(Source:astanatimes)

Dmitriy Mun also noted that collaboration with Tajikistan has led to the creation of over five websites using the platform developed by Kazakhstan.

These new licensing agreements with Tajikistan, Sierra Leone, and Togo reflect significant progress towards the goals outlined by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his last year's state-of-the-nation address, which emphasized increasing Kazakhstan’s IT service exports. By sharing its e-government system expertise, Kazakhstan is strengthening its position as a key player in global digital transformation.
