Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will launch three new tourist train routes in September to expand cross-border tourism and strengthen cultural cooperation.
The programs, lasting from five to seven days, will depart from Almaty and include guided excursions, onboard accommodation, partial meal plans, and transport services.
The first route, organized by Khan-Turan Travel, starts on Sept. 21 and will cover Almaty, Turkistan, Tashkent, Samarkand, and Bukhara, with boarding options in Taraz and Shymkent. The second, by Turan Kazakhstan Travel, begins on Sept. 26, linking Samarkand, Bukhara, Tashkent, Turkistan, and Almaty. The third, operated by Skyway, launches on Sept. 30, connecting Almaty, Turkistan, Samarkand, Bukhara, and Tashkent before returning to Almaty.
