Kazakhstan and Nigeria Commit to Strengthening Cooperation
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Jan. 14 during the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week Summit. Tokayev expressed Kazakhstan's commitment to deepening ties with Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation and a major economy.
Tinubu affirmed his readiness to elevate bilateral relations, with discussions focusing on trade, logistics, energy, agriculture, and multilateral cooperation. Tokayev invited Tinubu for an official visit to Kazakhstan.
