Kazakhstan and France Strengthen Cooperation in the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy
A meeting was held at the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy between the Chairman of the Agency, Almassadam Satkaliyev, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Sylvain Guiogué.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, the development of nuclear science and technology, as well as the exchange of experience in ensuring nuclear and radiation safety.
The Chairman of the Agency noted the high level of strategic partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the French Republic and emphasized the importance of cooperation with French профиль government institutions and leading companies in the nuclear sector.
In turn, Mr. Guiogué reaffirmed the French side’s interest in deepening cooperation with Kazakhstan, including the implementation of joint projects in nuclear energy, scientific research, personnel training, and the introduction of advanced technological solutions.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen institutional dialogue, and implement joint initiatives aimed at developing the peaceful atom and enhancing international partnership.
