Kazakh museum showcases the history of the Great Steppe in China
China’s Tianjin Museum opened an international exhibition dedicated to the Golden Man and the Great Steppe on Sept. 30 at the initiative of the Kazakh National Museum.
The exhibition presents 185 unique artifacts from the collection of the Kazakhstan National Museum, as reported by Kazinform.
Divided into three thematic sections, the exhibition focuses on various aspects of the development of Kazakh material and spiritual culture. Among the showcased items are relics from the early Iron Age, discoveries from Kazakhstan’s medieval cities along the Great Silk Road, as well as traditional jewelry and decorative arts.
The exhibition will be on display until February 12 of the following year.(Source:astanatimes)
