Jazeera Airways Considers Resuming Direct Flights to Kazakhstan

Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways is considering resuming direct flights to Kazakhstan once regional conditions stabilize, potentially restoring air connectivity suspended after its launch in 2021.

The issue was discussed on Oct. 13 during a meeting between Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Kuwait Yerzhan Yelekeyev and Jazeera Airways CEO Barathan Pasupathi, according to Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry.

The talks focused on expanding cooperation in civil aviation, tourism and trade. Yelekeyev highlighted the potential for renewed flights to increase tourist flows, strengthen business ties and facilitate exports of Kazakh products to Kuwait.

Jazeera Airways reaffirmed its interest in the Kazakh market, stating that it would consider resuming services when the regional situation stabilizes and operating conditions become favorable.
