East Kazakhstan authorities announced their plans to bring SpaceX's Starlink internet service to 171 rural schools in the region

On March 6, the East Kazakhstan Region's administration announced plans to implement SpaceX Starlink technology, providing broadband internet to 171 rural schools in Kazakhstan.

The Governor of the East Kazakhstan Region, Yermek Kosherbayev, stated that the equipment for SpaceX Starlink has arrived in the region, with installation scheduled to start in April.

Last month, Bagdad Mussin, the Kazakh Minister of Digital Development, Innovations, and Aerospace Industry, announced the arrival of the first batch of 500 pieces of SpaceX Starlink equipment in Kazakhstan. This high-speed satellite internet service by SpaceX will offer a stable and fast connection for remote and rural areas, enhancing access to modern digital educational resources for students and teachers.
