Bank CenterCredit (BCC) has been included for the first time in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, receiving international recognition for its commitment to sustainable development and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) best practices, the bank reported.
BCC earned a score of 75 out of 100, ranking among the world’s most sustainable companies. The Yearbook evaluates corporate sustainability across three dimensions: environmental responsibility, social policy, and corporate governance.
In the 2026 edition, more than 9,200 companies from 59 industries were assessed, with only 848 achieving Yearbook Member status. In the banking sector, 422 institutions were reviewed, with only 64 banks included.
The recognition reflects the maturity of Kazakhstan’s ESG regulatory framework and BCC’s systematic integration of ESG risk management into business processes. The bank plans to continue implementing ESG and climate strategies to generate long-term value for clients, investors, and society, while enhancing trust and transparency in line with international standards.
