Azerbaijani President to Visit Kazakhstan on October 20–21
At the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will pay a state visit to Kazakhstan on October 20–21, the presidential press service reported.
The two leaders will hold high-level talks on strengthening the strategic partnership and expanding cooperation in trade, transport, logistics, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
President Tokayev and President Aliyev will also participate in the meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and attend the Kazakh-Azerbaijani Business Forum, which aims to deepen economic ties and promote new investment projects. The visit continues the active dialogue between the two countries.
President Tokayev visited Baku in March 2024 and returned earlier this month to attend the 12th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States.
