The U.S. Agency for International Development will host the 13th Central Asia Trade Forum (CATF) on May 14-15 in Almaty, reported the USAID’s press service.
The Central Asia Trade Forum (CATF) has been instrumental in fostering trade connectivity and policy in the region, facilitating the signing of over $32 million in contracts since its inception. This year's event, themed "Trade Connections: Bridging Globally," aims to unlock new trade opportunities and markets, with sessions covering customs digitization, logistics, trade regulations, and more.
Additionally, side events like trade fairs and expos will showcase Central Asian products to global buyers, while the 11th Regional Meeting of National Trade Facilitation Committees will focus on digitizing trade processes and streamlining procedures across the region.(Source:astanatimes)
