Almaty to Host Central Asia Fintech Summit 2026
Almaty will host the Central Asia Fintech Summit (CAFS) 2026 on Sept. 11, bringing together financial institutions, fintech companies, regulators, investors and technology leaders to discuss the future of digital finance and financial innovation in the region.
Organized by the National Payment Corporation of Kazakhstan and the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the summit will be held at the Tselinny Center of Contemporary Culture from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is expected to serve as one of Central Asia’s leading platforms for dialogue on financial technologies, digital assets and the development of modern financial infrastructure.
The agenda will focus on key trends shaping the regional financial ecosystem, with participation from representatives of the banking sector, fintech firms, international organizations, technology companies, regulatory authorities and industry experts.
According to the organizers, the 2026 summit will build on the outcomes of the previous edition by promoting closer cooperation among market participants and supporting the continued development of the region’s fintech sector.
The 2025 Central Asia Fintech Summit attracted more than 4,000 participants, featured over 80 speakers, and welcomed delegates from more than 30 countries. The event also resulted in several strategic industry agreements, including initiatives related to digital assets and the expansion of QR payment infrastructure.
