Kazakh national air carrier Air Astana will open a new Almaty—Phu Quoc (popular tourist destination in Vietnam) route on Oct. 28.

Direct flights from Almaty to Phu Quoc will commence in October, operated twice weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays using A321LR aircraft. From December, the frequency will increase to four times a week. Return flights will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Round-trip economy class tickets start at 335,899 tenge (US$700).
